| Seems like most people want a trial and I see no harm in this.
What about a trialversion and then a vote after a couple of weeks/a month if we should add it to the real map?
In that case I dont think you should be able to build stackfarms in the middle.

| I say we give it 2 months of circulation before we vote, or at our convenience if we have a unanimous feeling about it before then. | |

| I think we shouldn't call them stacks or the map stacktrial just so its clear what we are testing | |

| Why wouldnt we call them stacks lol? I might have missed something but my idea of the general opinion as more or less a copy of the old stack except you shouldnt be able to build it in the middle? | |

| Can't you only build it in a certain radius around an invisible wolf? That was my impression. | |

| Idk, I guess it doesn't need to change if no one can of anything good.
It was Sidey's idea, and I'm pretty sure that's what everyone is arguing about when they are talking about stacks.

| But regardless what we call the map, I think we should make a trialmap and then have some sort of voting after a certain period of time. Or at least make up before we release the trial how we decide if we should keep it or not. Otherwise we just risk getting into a big fight that splits the community about what to do. | |

| did you give sidey your password? I haven't read 1 single post where someone wants the old stack back put on a real map or trialmap. The Stack as prod described it is not overly used atm, but being able to push yourself (but not the wolf) away seems pretty powerful when you think of the possibilities you have with it theoretically
Short: why are you for a stacktrial all of the sudden?

| noone wants to put stacks in the map.
what people have argued for, however, is a whole variety of changes that will drastically change gameplay to the better, where the addition of the stack is sentral. it counters invis, it counters golems, and it makes escaping isolation easier. then you buff wolfing accordingly. you buff invis and golems, and make the said items have a big succesrate(as big as claws in the hands of a good player). you increase the number of isolations through various changes. you keep the sheep-survival-time constant through balancing. sheeping is not supposed to last 20 min.
difference? more focus on technical and individual skill. a good wolf can get kills without relying on trollpro. a good sheep can escape isolations. there are more isolations, skill plays a bigger role(instead of just massing and avoiding the isolation for 10 min) and there is constant pressure on the sheep and constant action. skilled sheep can escape isolation without 4 sheep bridging him, skilled wolfs can get a kill without 4 wolfs backing him up against 1 sheep. good players end up winning alot more, and good players perform better compared to kids like skills_owns(who is considered a good player these days despite having a massive lack of talent)
the key is balancing teamwork, map-awareness and technical/individual skill. its not about removing teamwork(like some anti-stackers think). currently the weight leans HEAVILY towards teamwork. more than any sane person would prefer.

| Sounds like you want stacks in to me ^^. I still have to ask, are we putting the same stack farms of old in, or is it the inviswolf radius thing? I am really open to trying either one. | |

| shoop just wants to throw in the stack (and remove invis, as he has said on bnet). this is pretty much an insane idea as you would buff the sheep and nerf the wolfs. this is a ploy to make stack lose popularity by fucking up the entire map so that it seems like stacks have a negative impact on the map/gameplay.
noone wants that. | |

| As of now stacks are being implemented as a regular stack farm that can only be built if an invisible wolf in sight. | |
